Q - How do I gain access the League pages on the FA Web site?

Q - How do text in my result.
A - Texting process as follows
Martin Taylor (League Sec) will set up Texts so that everyone will receive 2 texts on the day
of the game - 1 each for A's and B's.(11 A side only receive the one text)
The shortcode is the last 4 digits of the Team Registration (on attachment
as Team Codes) i.e. AFC Kesgrave A = 7301, AFC Kesgrave B = 7302.
For the opening U10 - A team game between Claydon (shortcode- 7901) and AFC
Kesgrave it will work as follows:-
On the day of the match AFC Kesgrave will receive the following Text Prompt -
FULL-TIME THEFA
7901 V 7301
SAT 08 SEP 2007 10:30.
Submit your result after the match as: RESULT H-A 7301
Claydon the bottom line would be - RESULT H-A 7901
n.b H = Home Team score & A = Away Team score 11 a side will not have
shortcode after the result
What's needed!
If the result was 3-1 to Claydon (the home team) - AFC Kesgrave would reply
to text with the following message -
RESULT 3-1 7301
Claydon would text RESULT 3-1 7901
11 a side do not need to enter shortcode after the result Texts are charged at
normal Text Rate.
Q - Where do I send player new registrations and transfer forms?
A - Tony King is now acting as player registration secretary (Check Contacts
page) Please ensure you send SAE. If you do not then your registration or
transfer may be delayed.
Q - How do I de-register players?
A - Send an email or letter to Tony King with name of player, current team,
date de-registered.
Q - Who do I inform if I have to postpone a game?
A - Martin Taylor the League Secretary.
Q - Were do I send my 11 a side match team/result sheets?
A - Send them to Martin Taylor.
Q - Do I have to be a Manager to hold a position on the League Committee.
A - No. We welcome volunteers for all Committee posts. Appointments are
subject to agreement of main Committee if during the season. In general appointments
are ratified by all member clubs at the League AGM. Volunteers may be asked to
provide written application for a particular post or be asked to attend an
interview with representatives of the main Committee.
Q - Who do I contact if I have a complaint about another team or the way in
which the League is being managed?
A - Put your complaint in writing and send it to Martin Taylor. Martin will then
present your complaint to the main Committee for consideration. Complaints can
also be registered directly with Suffolk FA who are the overall governing body
for Junior and Youth soccer. If you have any general questions about this
process you can also contact Roger Clarke - Chairman of the Suffolk FA Youth
Committee and President of the Felixstowe & District League at jlfootieinfo@btinternet.com.
NOTE - Please ensure that all complaints are sent in writing as quickly as
possible following an incident. Complaints should be sent via your Club
Secretary. Where possible ensure you have witness statements or other evidence
to support your complaint.
